As of Friday, Mr Paen had 1.257 million baht in his bank account, almost double the 660,000 baht he found when he updated his passbook on Thursday. Mr Paen said he now had sufficient money to care for his family and repair their old wooden house in tambon Sakae Sam, Muang district. Kalayakorn Phetchana, manager of the Isan branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in downtown Buri Ram, said the bank helped Mr Paen and his wife to jointly open an account.
